Implicit Bias Training – 1 hour course
With a mandated pre-test and post-test included, this ON-DEMAND, two-hour webinar is designed to meet 1 hour of the implicit bias training requirement for all health care professions in the state of Michigan. Implicit bias training is required as a condition for initial licensure as well as license renewal. The course content covers all required topics outlined in the new rule added to the Public Health Code – General Rules R 338.7004 Implicit bias training standards.
Dr. Shereffa Clarke is a fulltime practicing chiropractor, public speaker, and educator who serves as Vice President of the American Black Chiropractic Association. Prior to practicing chiropractic, Dr. Clarke was an adjunct professor at Broward College instructing undergraduate students in biology, anatomy and physiology and a teaching assistant at the University of South Florida.
A graduate of both the University of South Florida, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science, and Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida, she has been recognized for both her professional and community service. Honors and awards include the ABCA’s Chiropractor of the Year, 100 Outstanding Women of Broward County, Broward College Adjunct Professor of the Year, and Emerging Leader of the Florida Chiropractic Association. Dr. Clarke is active in her church and has volunteered in support of women and children through activities like the Women in Distress Broward County donation drive and organizing a back-to-school event providing over 300 students aged 4 to 18 with physical examinations, book bags, and school supplies.
